Immigrating to Canada in the 1950’s, Anny and Daniel brought with them a skilled trade and an entrepreneurial mindset. From his early days as an apprentice, Daniel Sr. (1922-1993) had an expertise and passion for working with wood. His talent as a master wood tuner was easily recognized. Anny (1930 - 2021), working by his side, carefully sanded the pieces Daniel had just turned and managed the financials for the young business.

Growing up in the shop, Peter set his sights on expanding the company. With a business first approach, he transformed the company into one that operates on a larger scale, expanding further into the North American wood manufacturing industry and offering a wider scope of products and services. Today Peter still manages day to day operations.
Daniel (Jr.)
Vice President, B.Sc. Economics – Dalhousie University
As the third generation in the family business, Daniel focuses on marketing, sales and expanding the A&D brand. While bringing in a keen eye for new opportunities, Daniel works side by side with Peter and grew up learning to value a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
