A&D Woodturning est. 1968

Daniel & Anny

Immigrating to Canada in the 1950’s, Anny and Daniel brought with them a skilled trade and an entrepreneurial mindset. From his early days as an apprentice, Daniel Sr. (1922-1993) had an expertise and passion for working with wood. His talent as a master wood tuner was easily recognized. Anny, working by his side, carefully sanded the pieces Daniel had just turned and managed the financials for the young business. She continues to drop by the office and is active in a supporting role.

Growing up in the shop, Peter set his sights on expanding the company. With a business first approach, he transformed the company into one that operates on a larger scale, expanding further into the North American wood manufacturing industry and offering a wider scope of products and services. Today Peter still manages day to day operations.
